• Take A Sack. Bring It Back.

Help us feed families in need. Take home a grocery sack, fill it with non-perishable goods and bring it back. Simply drive up to the "Take a sack" sign in the parking lot and we'll even unload your donations for you! Peanut butter and jelly, canned fruit, cereal, crackers, spaghetti and sauce, toothpaste, and financial donations are needed. See Sis. Gwen for details.

Announcements

Check the bulletin boards outside the children's classrooms for current announcements and events.

• Join us Monday, September 6, 2010 (Labor Day) for our end of Summer fellowship. Lunch begins at 12:00pm. The annual volleyball tournament and children's activities begin at 1:00pm. Information is posted on the bulletin boards outside of Classroom 1. See Sis Ty Edwards or Sis Jane Martin if you would like to participate.
  
  
• The First Step Christian Recovery Group meets every Monday at 6:30pm


• Health Ministry blood pressure testing.

The Health Ministry will take an individuals blood pressure (free of charge) on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Times: 8:15 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. and for 30 minutes directly following service. It's being held in the classroom next to the restrooms and water fountain in the main hallway.


• "Go The Distance" College Scholarship Fund

If you would like to contribute to this fund, please see Sis Katherine Johnson or Sis Gwen.

• Service cancellation notices.

All cancellations (including weather related) will be announced on the church answering machine (454-3997) at least 2 hours prior to the service (if time allows). They will also be posted on TV9.

• CDs are now available online & immediately after the service in the office across from the Sanctuary.
